On My Bookshelf--31 Days of Halloween--Day 18

This week's book is the companion book to last week. This is a continuation of the Papel Picado tradition and is called Making Magic Windows by Carmen Lomas Garza. This book was the book that I was searching for since it actually has patterns available for cutting out. There are 8 projects in the book with patterns. The book contains plenty of illustrations, hints, and pointers on how to cut Papel Picado. My only regret was that there were no Day of the Dead patterns which I was hoping to find for Halloween. Otherwise, a very useful book for those people interested in paper crafts, paper cutting, and ethnic crafts.
